Elder Parker Sims...

...is currently preparing to be DEPORTED TO JAPAN. Ok so not quite. He is preparing to serve a 2 year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Sapporo, Japan. He will be in the MTC starting on October 5, 2011 to study and learn the Japanese language. There is no doubt he will be an amazing missionary and a major blessing to the people that he will encounter.

Christmas Time in Iwamizawa

"The pictures of Parker with the family was 2011 Christmas party in Iwamizawa with branch members. Iwamizawa is the little town where Parker is now serving. It is a way outside of Sapporo, very cold, with daytime high temperatures around 20-degrees and snow 7-10 feet deep, maybe more. We have not heard from Parker in a couple of weeks, but I rec'd these pics from a mom who also has a son in the sapporo mission. - Frankie"
